19th July "Freedom Day"

Today sees a significant relaxation of social distancing rules in England. Although the return to a more normal pub experience is very welcome, this does not mean that the COVID-19 pandemic has gone away! 

Please get out there and support pubs if you can, but please also be respectful of other customers that may still wish to maintain a distance or wear a mask. In particular, let’s all make sure to follow any requests or policies that individual pubs may have decided to apply to keep staff, customers and indeed their business safe. No one wants to see pubs closing again due to COVID infections or, worse still, another general lockdown.
